After completing your ARCS Journey

Each ARCS Member has the option to take one additional course, to become a Certified Adaptive Recovery Coach (CARC), a highly specialized and nationally accredited life coaching certification designed specifically for independent practice throughout the United States.

Watch your coaching video lessons

The CARC Ethics Course contains eight video-workbook lessons, dedicated to Coaching mission and guiding professional practice principles. These eight lessons are followed by four videos to help students prep for the CARC Certification Exam.

Pass the CARC Certification Exam

The CARC Certification Exam is entirely “open book” because the certification board is less interested in your ability to memorize information and more focused upon ensuring that you fully understand vital ethical and professional concepts.

After you pass the CARC Certification Exam, you have many options. You can opt to open your own private coaching practice, stay on the ARCS platform to practice your coaching skills and earn residual, compounding income, or all of the above!

Whereas licensed therapists must acquire a Masters degree to work with clients in only one state, ARCS Certified Coaches can open their own, national practice – seeing your clients online or in-person, based on your preferences. Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a nationally accredited certification?

Yes, ARCS Coaching Certifications are nationally accredited by The National Board of Adaptive-Recovery Professionals, the private board that regulates guidelines, maintains standards and issues CARC Certificates.

What do CARC-certified coaches do at ARCS?

Many of our Coaches opt to continue in ARCS live community sessions, but now they are able to participate under their formal titles and offer their coaching expertise. They also earn residual income through our robust Ambassador Affiliate program.

How long is the certification training?

The fastest possible completion time is 9 months, but each person is encouraged to take their own, natural pace through the video lessons. The ARCS Program is not something that you study; it's something that you live, and the benefits last a lifetime. Check our available ARCS membership subscription plans here to get started.

Do I still have access to the live community sessions?

Yes! Everyone who comes to ARCS has different goals, and new goals often emerge as you progress. Our live community sessions are always available for any graduate who wishes to continue attending. Many who journey through ARCS come to adopt our community sessions into their daily lives for ongoing self-care, connection, and growth.
